A Fucking Pill Is Not Gonna Solve Your Fucking Problems

Yesterday, I stopped by my mom’s and saw some of my brother’s stuff lying on the table. One piece of paper was a prescription for Escitalopram. I didn’t know what it was and what it does, but I got curious, so I googled it. Apparently, it’s used to treat depression and anxiety. Well, I don’t know what my brother’s motives are, maybe he’s just experimenting, since he’s really into self-improvement and becoming the most efficient version of himself, but I’ve never liked the idea of taking medication for anything, especially “mental problems”.

It’s just so sad and upsetting how people these days are brainwashed and have turned into fucking little pussies that aren’t able to survive without taking some form of medication all the time. You don’t need to go to the doctor every time you catch a common cold, goddammit. Just take a rest and drink some warm beverage mixed with some honey in it and you’ll be fine within a few days. There is no need to be productive all the time and if you are sick, that’s your body telling you you should get some rest instead of taking a pill and going out of your way to turn it into a long-term health problem.

Most “mental (and also lots of other health) problems” are the result of social conditioning and an unhealthy lifestyle. First, they make you sick and then they trick you into buying their pills and eventually they get paid for killing you. For instance, type 2 diabetes can easily be cured with a proper diet (it was caused by an improper diet, so what makes you think it’s incurable and you need to take insulin?!) and yet doctors keep pumping people up with all kinds of unnecessary medications that will never actually cure them.

Depression, anxiety and most of the other mental health issues are ultimately an imbalance in your state of mind and thinking you are unable to do something about it without a pill is just foolish. Medication cannot be the ultimate solution, because if you stop taking it and are not able to sustain a healthy state of mind, that’s not natural, that’s not “normal”, as society wants you to believe.

Whether something is a problem or not is, as I always preach here, relative. For example, I used to be incredibly jealous and suspicious in my former relationship. And my partner would say something like “Please take some meds, being that jealous and suspicious all the time is not normal”. And that was literally one of the stupidest things I had ever heard lol. I mean, come on. A pill to cure jealousy? Does that even exist? 😂 He was of the opinion that doctors are always right and know what they’re talking about and mental issues are purely neurological problems that can easily be treated with the right medications. Yeah… I can’t be with someone like that 😂.

Maybe medications can help you for a while with certain issues, but they won’t solve the underlying problem in the long run. I think people need to be aware of this.
